Started to reassemble the power block and added a new fuse holder, fuse, and power cord. I have a drawer full of used and new power cords, and just grabbed one. Need to finish putting everything back together and then will test for voltages. Here are the steps to replacing a power cord:
- Note where all three wires go to. The hot wire will be the one that needs a fuse. The ground and neutral both went to the filter in the photo below.
Note:
Hot wire = black, brown, or smooth coating (connects to the smaller blade on the plug-in).
Neutral wire = white, blue, or ribbed coating (connects to the larger blade on the plug-in).
Ground = green. - Remove the old one and replace with the new.
